Post Season Tennis Awards Celebration

I will host a post-season wrap up get-together (banquet would be too formal of a word) at my neighborhood pool commons area on Thursday May 29, 2008.

When: Thursday May 29, 6:30 PM

Where: Sunset Point Subdivision Pool, dress to swim (in the event of rain, we can use the common area shelter area by our beach overlooking Lake Wylie)

Who: All players, parents, and siblings are invited. Grandparents are also welcome, but let's try to limit aunts, uncles and cousins twice removed due to space availability. Also, our athletic administrators are invited.

What: Pot-luck dinner and dessert will procede our presentation of letters to athletes as well as individual awards.

Below are the assignments of food needs...

Seniors, entrees (as creative as you want to get!):

Jeff Zimmerman: Chicken dish
Paul Sabisch: Beef dish
Zach Beaver: Chicken dish
Eric Sabin: Beef dish
Sudeep Das: Pasta dish (vegetarian)

Sophomore / Junior, salad:

Alex Atzberger: Green Salad
Drayton Wade: Caesar Salad

Freshmen, sides:

Seth Russell: Potatoes
Brian Fitzpatrick: Green Beans, or caserole of such
Jordan Beaver: Baked Beans & Bread

8th Grader, drinks:

Jonathan Patton: 2 liter soda bottles, cooler with ice

7th Grader, dessert:

Charlie Roble: Cookies, Brownies or both

Coach: plates/cups/napkins

Feel free to dress very casually and all are welcome to take a dip in the pool if you feel so inclined. A tentative order of events will be to swim or mingle from 6:30 - 7:00, eat from 7:00 - 7:30, followed by the presentation of letters to varsity letter winners, recognition of our seniors, and then presentation of awards for Most Valuable Player, Most Improved Player, Best Practice Player, and Coaches Award for Dedication.

For those unfamiliar with Sunset Point, directions would be as follows from Celenese Road:

Turn north onto India Hook Rd, go approx 3 miles through the light at Mount Gallant Rd
Go past the main entrance of Sunset Point
Turn left onto Elks Park Rd (too far if you see ROAR academy)
Go past the rear entrance of Sunset Point
Pool area will be on your left and use second entrance, parking available for 25 cars
